Sharonda Hawkins Named Administrator of Renaissance Assisted Living of Greene County

STANARDSVILLE, Va. (April 29, 2019) - Sharonda Hawkins has been named administrator for Renaissance Assisted Living of Greene County.

“We are excited to name Sharonda Hawkins as the administrator for our facility. She will be a great asset to our management team in this role, and we love seeing her leadership experience coincide with a love for the residents,” said Amber Ralls, executive director of Renaissance Assisted Living of Greene County.

Hawkins takes on this new role after serving three years as the assistant director of nursing at The Harbor at Renaissance, the sister memory care facility which shares a campus with Renaissance Assisted Living of Greene County.

Hawkins brings more than 14 years of healthcare industry experience to Renaissance Assisted Living of Greene County. She started an elderly companion care company after working several years in assisted living, served as a pharmaceutical senior support specialist and held several skilled care positions. As a skilled care professional, she has served as a floor nurse, assessment coordinator and head of restorative and medical records.

“Renaissance has offered me the opportunity to get back to doing what I love to do-- helping the elderly community. I’m grateful to now serve as the administrator of Renaissance Assisted Living of Greene County, and this is a role that I believe will be an especially good fit,” Hawkins said.

Hawkins, a local alum of William Monroe High School, graduated from nursing school at the Richmond School of Health and Technology in 2005. Prior to graduating nursing school, she obtained a certified nursing assistant licence and began work as an assisted living professional. Hawkins resides in Virginia with her three boys. She loves spending time with her family.
